Three instructors. One shared obsession — making you better.
Head Instructor & Co-Founder
Maya discovered cycling after a decade in competitive dance, and she never looked back. A Lululemon Ambassador and certified precision nutrition coach, Maya brings explosive choreography and an infectious energy to every ride. She's been featured in Vancouver Magazine's '40 Under 40' and has trained over 3,000 riders since co-founding VOLTA in 2019. When she's off the bike, you'll find her hiking the Stein Valley or perfecting her matcha latte art.
Certifications
Fun fact: Has never missed a Monday ride. Not once.
Senior Instructor
Jordan came to spin from a background in competitive triathlon, where he raced Ironman events across North America. His rides are data-driven but deeply human — expect power zone breakdowns, breathwork cues, and a playlist that will make you forget you're suffering. Jordan holds a BSc in Kinesiology from UBC and coaches the VOLTA team training program on weekends. He believes every rider has more in the tank than they think.

Fun fact: His power zone playlists are legendary — riders have cried. Twice.
Instructor & Community Lead
Priya is the heartbeat of the VOLTA community. A former professional DJ and wellness retreat facilitator, she builds rides that feel like a journey — sonic, emotional, physical. Her signature VOLTA BEATS class sells out within minutes every week. Priya is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-500) and runs VOLTA's monthly breathwork sessions. She moved to Vancouver from Mumbai in 2016 and says the mountains make her ride harder.

Fun fact: Once DJ'd a 6-hour charity ride. Nobody left.
